This blog, inspired by the famous Animation Backgrounds blog, will be a place to appreciate and be inspired by the amazing background art in animation. I feel like there are lots of blogs dedicated to the art of western animation, so this blog will be "mainly" focused on Japanese and non-western animation. All artwork is captured from the actual films, with characters edited out, and some digitally stitched together through taking multiple screenshots. Enjoy!
